Be there! Corfu Animation Festival presents a stop-motion, bas-relief animation workshop by Kim Noce.A workshop from MewLab animator Kim Noce to animate a character or an emotion using bass relief clay.
After a short introduction from Kim Noce participants will draw a short 6/12 frames loop directly onto bass relief clay. Based in the poster design each participant will draw a simple character or emotion which represent for them Europe.

For each IPad set up we can have 8 participants working in pair. After the introduction, the participant sign in for an introduction session with a 30 min talk + screening and a taster session 15 min session animating a GIf

Bio Kim Noce www.kimnoce.com
I am an Artist with a MA in Animation from the National film and television School in London (NFTS) and a degree in Fine Art from the Academia di Belle Arti di BRERA in Milano.
Alongside my personal artwork, film and experiments, I work for the commercials industry. My clients included broadcaster BBC & Channel 4; theatres production Warner Bros & Weinstein Co and fine art commission from TATE, National Portrait Gallery and the Barbican.
My films, animation and installations have been show in many festival and galleries across the world and have won many awards.
Since 2005 I co-created the collective www.mewlab.com and I am currently represented by Film Club Productions at Th1ng www.filmclubproductions.com
