Stephanie Girard is currently an undergraduate animation student at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, graduating in May 2013. Previously, she earned a certificate in animation through the Rhode Island School of Design’s Young Artist Program and spent nine years training in various two dimensional media, such as oil paint, watercolor, colored pencil, charcoal, and pencil. Three of her short animation pieces have been featured in MassArt’s animation shows Squealing Pegs and Peggin’ Out. She has a passion for storytelling and spends most of her free time writing, and is heavily influenced by Disney animated feature films.

Ντεκουπαρισμένα υλικά
Δύο κορίτσια διαφορετικά. Δύο κόσμοι διαφορετικοί. Το άσπρο και το μαύρο. Η μέρα και η νύχτα. Ο χειμώνας και το καλοκαίρι. Και στη μέση ένα μολύβι. Άλλoτε χρησιμοποιείται σαν όπλο και άλλoτε σαν φυλαχτό. Μια ιστορία για τον ρατσισμό, τη φιλία και το δικαίωμα στη διαφορετικότητα.
Two different girls. Two different worlds. The white and the black. Day and night. Winter and summer. In the middle a pencil. Sometimes it is used as a weapon, sometimes as a talisman. A story about racism, friendship and the right to be different.

Ονομάζομαι Μαργαρίτα Σιμοπούλου. Γεννήθηκα στην Αθήνα στις 30/06/1989. Σπουδάζω στα Τ.Ε.Ι. Αθήνας στη Σχολή Γραφικών Τεχνών και Καλλιτεχνικών Σπουδών (Σ.Γ.Τ.Κ.Σ.) στο τμήμα της Γραφιστικής. Είμαι τελειόφοιτη με ειδικότητα στο animation. Έχω ασχοληθεί με διαφορετικές τεχνικές του animation (3D, cut-out, 2D cartoon, stop motion). Επίσης έχω παρακολουθήσει σεμινάρια σχετικά με το animation και τις ψηφιακές τέχνες. Τέλος έχω συμμετάσχει ως βοηθός σε σεμινάριο animation που απευθυνόταν σε παιδιά.

Yonni Aroussi, was born in Israel in 1978. A Jerusalem raised artist. Found his interests in drawing at a very early age. Enrolled to the Charles A Smith- high school of arts in Jerusalem, where he majored and in graduated Plastic arts. After his military service began his interest in photography, which led to several photography programs at the 'Camera Obscura' school of arts Tel Aviv and Musrara school of Photography, Jerusalem. Than Started a four year Animation Program at 'Bezalel Academy of art and design, Jerusalem.lately have been working as a 3d artist and Animator in Crew 972 on the new episode Warner Broher Looney tunes Coyote and RoadRunner. Currently working as a 3d artist in Playtech, gaming software company.

Ben Genislaw was born in Israel 1977 and discovered his first interest in animation at the age of 25. Ben graduated the animation program at 'Bezalel Academy of art and design' in Jerusalem'. Today, he is a partner and the creative manager at 'Breeze Creative' studios. Throughout his work, Ben has directed dozens of movies and installations for educational and commercial purposes. Amongst his personal projects are live illustrations and animation work for orchestras such as –The Revolution Orchestra, the Haifa Symphony Orchestra, the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion and the Israel Symphonietta Beer Sheva. Filmography: 'Musical Chairs' (2008) - A short 2D animated film, staring 5 unique silhouette characters. 'We Found Water' (2009) - A 15 minute historical tale, starring live actors and combining animated backgrounds.

2D Computer, Σχεδίαση σε χαρτί | Drawing on paper
Μια βοσκοπούλα και το κοπάδι με τις κατσίκες της ξεκινούν την ημέρα τους στην έρημο. Πάνω ψηλά ένα όρνιο ρίχνει μια δυσοίωνη σκιά , καθώς το κοπάδι σιγά-σιγά υποκύπτει στην ξηρασία. Μια μακρινή πόλη στον ορίζοντα υπόσχεται σωτηρία. Η βοσκοπούλα οδηγεί τις κατσίκες της κατ’ ευθείαν σ’ αυτήν και το μόνο που καταφέρνει είναι να βυθιστεί σε απελπισία επειδή χάνει τη γκλίτσα της, κι έτσι το κοπάδι χάνεται σκορπίζοντας μες στην πόλη. Η μόνη κατσίκα που της απομένει, η Χουμπεϊζά, την συνοδεύει σ’ αυτή την μάταιη σκοτεινή προσπάθειά της να ξαναμαζέψει το κοπάδι, και να το οδηγήσει πάλι στην ζέστη του πυρακτωμένου ήλιου της ερήμου.

Song E Kim was born in Seoul, Korea and now resides in Los Angeles. Her first film, Dinner Table, was featured at the Ottawa International Animation Festival, San Francisco International Animation Festival, Asian American International Film Festival and National Conference of the Association for Women in Psychology. Also, it was received Best Animation awards at New Orleans Film Festivals and Big Muddy Film Festival. Additionally, her work includes commercials for Reebok, OK GO's Last Leaf music video, Delta Goodrem's In This Life music video, and the documentary films Playground and Plastiki. She earned her MFA at California Institute of the Arts.

Η μέρα της Άνι στην Βιβλιοθήκη αρχίζει σαν όλες τις άλλες, αλλά ο ενδιαφέρων άντρας που κάθεται απέναντι της, κάνει τις σκέψεις της να ξεφεύγουν. Ο Tεό είναι το ίδιο φευγάτος, τουλάχιστον από τα βιβλία του για το Αναγεννησιακό γυμνό, που κάνουν το μυαλό - και το σφυγμό - του να επιταχύνει. Αυτή η τετράλεπτη ταινία computer animation τοποθετεί τον θεατή μέσα στις φαντασιώσεις των ηρώων, για να μοιραστεί το τι θα μπορούσε να συμβεί αν το πρωτόκολλο μιας βιβλιοθήκης ξεπερνιόταν από τις σαρκικές επιθυμίες.

ANIMATED SHORTS:
ZEN ZEN WAKARANAI: NO IDEA, graduation animation. During its creation I collaborated with a team of pan-national artists. This included Japanese animators, artists and musicians I established relationships with while attending Kyushu University in Fukuoka, Japan, as an exchange student. 2012. THE COOL CATS SHOW, an animated film where performers interact with animated characters on a screen (in honour of Winsor McCay's Gertie the Dinosaur from 1914). It is also homage to the history of animation, starting as a black and white vaudevillian act and becoming a full colour 'modern' animation.
