Joost Lieuwma graduated in 2005 at the Utrecht School of Arts with his animated short 'Once upon a time in my wife'. Since then he is working as a freelance animator in Utrecht. 'How Dave and Emma got pregnant' is his second independent short after his graduation film.

BIOGRAPHY
After a master's degree and a postgraduate diploma in Film, Gérard Ollivier has participated in various short films and video reports as a sound engineer before specializing himself in filming music (performances, music videos). He then completed three short animated films: 100 Papers in volume (1998), Burger Burp’s & the Happy Farmer made in 2D paper cut (2001) and White Earthenware (2002), a project started several years earlier. Living in Marseille, he is working on a set of drawn travel diaries, slide shows devoted to his city. He also prepares an introductory workshop on animation for children.

Natalia Ryss lives and works in Rostov-on-Don. 1988–1995 - was studying the production design of animation film at All-Russian University of Cinematography in Moscow (VGIK), the workshop of S. Sokolov. 1997-1999 – was making the collages for "Chemistry and Life" Magazine. Natalia Ryss is also a painter whose paintings are kept in private collections of a lot of countries. Between making the films she takes part in different exhibitions.

Graduate of Paris Fine Arts, Cléo Biasini decided to turn to animation by choosing the Art Institute of Chicago, a school close to effusive comics that allowed her to take her first steps. Back in Paris, she keeps working on her techniques at the Decorative Arts School of Paris; meanwhile she starts cultivating the rough version style and gets closer to the Estonian school, whose exuberance she highly appreciates. After her stay in Tallinn, she comes back with a funny road movie «Kinobuss Parade» in which her antiheroine Eve Tougo makes her first appearance. At the present time, she works in her newest short film produced by Sacrebleu, where Eve initiates her path into the resistance, a passive one…

In a world where mistakes are unacceptable, everyone is trying to catch up with strict deadlines. The main character, a postman, is given the mission to hand in a letter in eight minutes. Along the way he has to make a choice between love and duty.
He lives brief moments of passion, defying the rules.
The rules are clear:
Everyone must travel alone on a UNICYCLE.
Every assignment must be accomplished within the DEADLINE.
Every inconsistency has severe CONSEQUENCES.

Zina Papadopoulou was born in Greece. She studied Graphic Design at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens.
She took her Master’s degree in Animation in the Utrecht School of the Arts, the Netherlands. She has many years working experience as a designer and animator in the Netherlands, UK and Greece. Currenlty, she works as an independent animator and director
Petros Papadopoulos is a Greek animator and Graphic Designer. He studied Technology of Graphic Arts at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens. After finishing his MA in Digital Moving Image at the London Metropolitan University, he worked in the field of TV advertisement. At the moment he is doing a PHD research on “The role of graphic communication to people with special needs” at Cyprus University of Technology.

Regina Pessoa
Regina Pessoa nasceu em Coimbra em 1969 e licenciou-se em Pintura pela Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto, em 1998. Durante a frequência da licenciatura começa a trabalhar no estúdio Filmógrafo, onde colabora em vários projectos, entre os quais como animadora, nos filmes “Os Salteadores”, “Fado Lusitano” e “Clandestino” de Abi Feijó. Em 1999 anima e realiza a sua primeira curta-metragem de animação “A Noite”, em gravura sobre placas de gesso – uma técnica morosa e delicada que resulta numa plasticidade singular – que ganhou mais de uma dezena de prémios nacionais e internacionais. Em 2005, realiza o seu segundo filme “História Trágica com Final Feliz”, igualmente em gravura. Esta animação tornou-se numa das curtas-metragens portuguesas mais galardoadas de sempre com quase cinco dezenas de prémios e menções internacionais, entre os quais se destaca Prémio Cidade de Espinho e Alves Costa no CINANIMA (2005, Portugal), o Grande Prémio no Festival de Annecy (2006, França), o Prix à la Qualité do CNC (2006, França), e o Grande Prémio no SICAF (2006, Coreia do Sul).

Jérémy Clapin
Jérémy Clapin gets his degree in Paris ENSAD in 1999. He works since then in various fields: art direction, illustrator for editors and magazines, animator and independent director for commercials. In 2004, he directs his first animation short film, A Backbone Tale, which wins about 15 international awards. In 2008, Skhizein, his second film is nominated for the french CèSARS, short-listed for the OSCARS and wins more than 90 awards in festivals. Since then, he directs many commercials (SNCF,CITROEN), as wells as the Good vibrations short film for the ACME filmworks. In 2010, he joins PAPY3D Productions and direct Palmipedarium; his new film financed by Arte et and entirely made using Open Source software (Blender).

Jacque is a very sick little boy who yearns to be able to go outside and play with the other children. To his delight however, he finds there is another boy in the hospital who wants to play with him. But increasingly Jacque discovers, that neither the boy, nor the play, are as they seem.
Slapjack is an animated short about fate and chance, but most of all, about a lonely little boy and his new friend.

Rosemary is an artist and an animator in her penultimate year studying Digital Media at the College of Fine Arts, UNSW. A long time fascination with puppetry and movement has preceded her decision to pursue animation. Slapjack (2012) is her first animated film.

Once upon a time, there lived three little buttons on the grandma's sewing table. When they grew up, they left home and built their own houses. The first, second, and third made house with threads, knitting needles, and pins with fabric respectively. One day, a scary scissors came to each house. What would happen to three buttons? Irene Jihyun Kim is an animator and illustrator. Irene enjoys making a story in her own visual language and placing a story in different contexts such as abstraction, daily objects, etc. She has previously studied and worked in graphic design and in 2012, finished her masters in Sequential Design and Illustration in the University of Brighton, UK.
