Two most important, young Argentinian animators grace the programme of Be there! Corfu Animation Festival. Their complete work will be shown during the festival, and a panel discussion on Argentinian animation will be conducted during the festival.
Inès Sedan is mostly known for her very personal and 'hand-made' style of her film The Man Who Slept (Sacrebleu Productions, 2009), which received 20 awards (including the Grand Prix of Be there! Corfu Animation Festival 2011), and was offiicially selected to more than 100 festivals worldwide. Since 1999, she lives in France, and has recently completed her film Moi, that travels the festival circuit.

Patricio Plaza is a 2D animator, illustrator and comic books artist. He begins his formation on the animation field at the age of fourteen, receiving the “Bernardo Houssay” scholarship for distinguished fine arts students. He has a Bachelor in Audiovisual Communication (National
University of La Plata) .He has also received two national group creation scholarships from the National Fund for the Arts (FNA).
He has worked as an animator in six feature films for various animation studios, including Filmax Animation (Gisaku, Nocturna), Patagonik Film Group (El Arca,
Patoruzito) and Hook Up animation (Winnie the Pooh's ABC, Cartoon Network).
His work as illustrator and comic books artist includes collaborations for publishing companies such as Simon and Schuster (USA), Zeros2Heros (Canada) and Estación Mandioca (Argentina).
With the animated short film “El Empleo”, co-created under the direction of Santiago ‘Bou’ Grasso, he received more than 100 awards in film festivals from all around the world, among them the Fipresci award from the international critics at the Annecy Animation Festival, France.
