Painting, drawing and comics exhibition in the Ionian Academy during the festival.

 

Be there! Corfu Animation Festival hosts within its 4-day framework a painting exhibition inside the Ionian Academy by the Corfu Painters Society, with the art of animation as its topic. This will give festival spectators the opportunity to enrich their stimuli and information concerning the art of animation, and its influences on other forms of art.

With fresh ideas and the force of their creation the students of the Department of the Audio & Visual Arts (Ionian University), supervised by the assistant prof. S. Verykios) will dress with colour and inspiration the interior of the Ionian Academy during the festival. Their exhibition of drawings and comics will contribute to the comprehension of the interaction between the arts and the artists who speak on their behalf.
