Joris CLERTÉ, born in Poitiers in 1969, (13 October) is a director, animator, illustrator and musician. A tort ou à raison, his first music video, was for his band, called Prudence. Since then, through the company Doncvoilà he cofounded with Virginie Giachino, he has directed various music videos, as well as TV designs for ARTE channel. Talented technician, he likes creating different graphic styles, mixing real animated objects, 2D or 3D. He is currently developing a feature film, a short film and series.

Franck Dion has made good use of his talent in multiple years. He first took lessons to become an actor in the American Center, then in the “Théâtre de l’Archet“. At the same time, he became passionate about cinema and learned by himself to sculpt, to draw, and to paint. He worked with editors and magazines, designed theater sceneries and animations for documentary films. Mário Gajo de Carvalho, nasceu no Porto.Tem três cursos superiores, um Bacharelato em Pintura e uma Licenciatura em Artes Plásticas pela ESAP, uma Licenciatura em Cinema pela ESTC, actualmente é mestrando em Ciências da Comunicação – Cinema pela UNL – FCSH. Já participou em cerca de 25 curtas-metragens de Ficção, Documentário e Animação e 3 longas metragens. “Os Milionários”é a sua segunda curta-metragem de animação. Actualmente encontra-se a desenvolver um novo projecto de animação.

Linda McCarthy is a film maker specialising in stop-motion animation. She has made and exhibited ceramics, written and performed marionette shows, and in November 2007 received a First Class Honours Degree in Animation from Glyndŵr University in North Wales. After graduating, Linda set up the animation company, Tiny Elephants Ltd. Since 2007 Linda has collaborated with Steven Appleby to make four films adapted from Steven’s cartoon strip, Small Birds Singing. Linda’s graduation film Small Birds Singing has been screened at festivals around the world, including Annecy 2008. A Traditional Christmas at Small Birds Singing was completed in December 2008 and premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in 2009. The Grand Easter Egg Hunt was completed a year later in February 2010 and Hinterland in November of the same year. Hinterland premiered at Edinburgh International Film Festival in June 2011. In addition to short film festivals, the film has been popular at environmental festivals around the world and in June 2012 it won best Eco film at Golden Kuker – Sofia Animation Festival. In November 2011 Linda and Steven created Reality Controller, the Animated Ident for Bradford Animation Festival. Mother’s Song was completed in June 2012. It is a visual interpretation of the song by The Long Dead Sevens from the album The White Waltz and Other.

In his work, Daniel Sousa uses animation and themes commonly found in mythology and fairy tales to examine archetypes of human nature, and the inner struggles between our intellects and our unconscious drives. Rather than following conventional narratives, he approaches filmmaking from a painter’s perspective. He focuses on states of mind, evoking the fragility of fleeting moments, memories and perceptions. Daniel was born in Cape Verde and grew up in Portugal. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Sousa has worked as a director and animator with Cartoon Network, Olive Jar Studios, Global Mechanic, and Duck. Sousa has taught at several colleges in the New England area, including Harvard University, The Museum School, and The Art Institute of Boston. Since 2001 he has been teaching at the Rhode Island School of Design. He is a Creative Capital grantee for the production of his new film, "Feral".

Shaun Clark graduated from The National Film and Television School England in 2005 with the short film called “Lightman”. A manic tale about a man who is scared of the dark and tries at all costs to recreate the sun in his loft to make the dark vanish from his life forever. The film was screened at over forty film festivals and went on to win numerous awards. In 2005 Shaun was recognised by Aardman animations in an exhibition of work from the UK’s most recent fresh talent. Shaun went onto produce a series of short films between 2006 and 2011 which used experimental storytelling and abstract techniques. In 2010 his film Home? Won the best experimental audience prize at the London International Animation Festival. Lady and the Tooth sees Shaun return to narrative based themes exploring a grotesque village full of teeth worshippers. Shaun resides in London, England and is a Director at Mew Lab

Born 1968, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, Painting Department in Zagreb. He works on experimental film/video and video-installations since 1990. In 1993 starts working with 2D and 3D computer animation. His short experimental and animated films were screened and awarded at many international festivals. He teaches animation at the Arts Academy in Split, at the Academy of Applied Arts in Rijeka and Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb (Animation Department).
