Since Christophe Gautry graduated from La Poudrière animation school in 2005, he works for Folimage studio as FX director on various projects. In the meantime, he also codirected three short films with Arnaud Demuynck - "La Vita Nuova" (2008), "The Lunatic Council" (2010), "An interrupted Show" (2012) –, works on more experimental films like "Vertige" (2012) codirected with Mathieu Brisebras, and writes scripts for fiction and animation series.

Γίνεται εύκολα, μόνο αν ανοίξετε το μυαλό σας στον κόσμο της φαντασίας. Τα υψίστης σημασίας ερωτήματα είναι πώς και γιατί. Τι είναι εφικτό και τι μπορεί να γίνει εφικτό; Τι συμβαίνει με τα παιδιά και τα όνειρά τους στον πραγματικό κόσμο που συχνά αποδεικνύεται ότι είναι μια σκληρή και ψυχρή πραγματικότητα των απογοητεύσεων, ματαιωμένων σχεδίων και απογοητεύσεων . Born on November 1st 1976 in Minsk (Belarus)Anna Khmelevskaya first studied at Minsk's Fine-Arts Academy (1990-1994) and at its University of Linguistics (1994-2000), and then arrived in Paris to study computer graphics and animation at the "Arts Dcos" school (2005-2006, graduation film: "Butterfly"). Since then, she works as a graphic designer, animator and storyboarder.

2D computer animation, ΗθοποιοίΠιστεύετε στα θαύματα ; Η ταινία animation "Μικροί Μάγοι" είναι μια ταινία ντοκιμαντέρ για παιδιά , που πιστεύουν σε αυτά με όλη την καρδιά και το μυαλό τους. Γίνεται εύκολα, μόνο αν ανοίξετε το μυαλό σας στον κόσμο της φαντασίας. Τα υψίστης σημασίας ερωτήματα είναι πώς και γιατί. Τι είναι εφικτό και τι μπορεί να γίνει εφικτό; Τι συμβαίνει με τα παιδιά και τα όνειρά τους στον πραγματικό κόσμο που συχνά αποδεικνύεται ότι είναι μια σκληρή και ψυχρή πραγματικότητα των απογοητεύσεων, ματαιωμένων σχεδίων και απογοητεύσεων . Πώς αυτά τα νεαρά παιδιά βλέπουν και ζουν σε ένα περιβάλλον χαράς και λύπης, σε μια ζωή γεμάτη από πικρά δάκρυα και καλές ελπίδες;

μόνο για τα iphones τους, τα έξυπνα κινητά τους και τους φορητούς υπολογιστές
τους. Ο παππούς νοιώθει μόνος...μόνος τελείως. Οι προσπάθειές του να τον
προσέξουν αποτυγχάνουν.

Born 7 May 1989, Thomas Scherer quickly discovered his passion for filmmaking.
After his Abitur in the high school „Christian von Mannlich Gymnasium" (2008) and
his alternative service at the company „reha GmbH Neunkirchen" (2009), a company
that takes care of handicapped people, he decided to study at Hochschule Offenburg.
Since 2010 he studies „medien. gestaltung & production" and at the moment he works
on his Bachlor-film. Since 2006 he has made a lot of movies of all genres with his
Independent film crew „WP Films". He made different training periods in different
media-companies and the theatre to get experience.

εαυτό του καθενός. Μία σκοτεινή αντανάκλαση σχετικά με τα μυστικά του μυαλού
σχετικά με κάθε πτυχή της ανθρώπινης συμπεριφοράς . Η έννοια του "The Fold "
είναι εμπνευσμένη από τα γραπτά του Γάλλου φιλοσόφου Gilles Deleuze, στην οποία
μια σκέψη έχει πολλές πτυχώσεις εσωτερικά, αυτή η αναδίπλωση στο εσωτερικό
είναι αυτό που ο ίδιος αποκαλεί «εξωτερικές δυνάμεις» .

My graduation film "After" was nominated for a ROYAL TELEVISION SOCIETY AWARD.In 2006 I was awarded the Channel 4 AIR Scheme where I made a short film called "Forget Me Not".
Alongside my personal films I work as a freelance animator for the commercials industry for company such as BBC, Channel 4 and TATE. My films and my animation work have won many awards around the globe, including a BAFTA nomination for an TV series.

των εσωτερικών διαταραχών και αρχέγονων αμφιβολιών, τον αναγκάζουν να
ερευνήσει τα όρια της αντοχής και της δύναμης του. Ερευνώντας βαθιά την ψυχή του,

Throughout her childhood (born in 1978), she had been doodling on something. Before she
begun to study animation at the University of Film & Television (HFF) Potsdam in 2000,
she was working as a freelance illustrator and comic-artist. At 2005 she graduated as
animator with diploma with her Edgar Allan Poe adaption of „The Tell-Tale Heart".
Together with 14 animators and sound designer she founded in 2009 the animation studio
„Talking-Animals" and working as freelance 2D-animator, comic-artist & film-maker.

Η ταινία ασχολείται με ένα από τα πιο φρικτά εγκλήματα προς τις γυναίκες που είναι
γνωστά ως επιθέσεις με οξύ (Acid-Attacks). Μετά την επίθεση δημιουργεί μία
παραμόρφωση (VIRUPAN ) στον επιζώντα, που έχει τραυματική επίδραση τόσο
σωματικά όσο και ψυχολογικά .
Η όλη ιστορία εκτυλίσσεται με τη μορφή συμβάντος σε πρόζα και ποίηση από μία
επιζώσα, η οποία αφηγείται την εμπειρία της μετά την επίθεση και το ταξίδι του να
αντιμετωπίζει την καθημερινή ζωή με παραμόρφωση .

Μία ηλικιωμένη αρκούδα βγαίνει κάθε μέρα σε μια πολυσύχναστη γωνιά του δρόμου. Στήνει ένα μικρό ξύλινο θέατρο που περιέχει μαριονέτες φτιαγμένες από αυτήν. Με ένα νόμισμα η αρκούδα θα θέσει τους μηχανισμούς σε κίνηση, οι μαριονέτες θα αρχίσουν να κινούνται και μια ιστορία θα ξεδιπλωθεί μέσα στο κουτί. Μέσα από το ματάκι οι περαστικοί θα δουν τη ζωή μιας αρκούδα τσίρκου που λαχταρά να δραπετεύσει και να επιστρέψει στην οικογένειά της.

About the director
Originally from the sleepy hamlet of Whittington in Staffordshire, Rebecca first completed a Bachelor's Degree in Animation at The University for the Creative Arts, Farnham. After working for a Post-production company in London's Soho, she then enrolled onto the Animation Direction course at the National Film & Television School. She has made several short films here, including 'Canuck Black', which includes a mixture of techniques, making it her most ambitious film to date. Rebecca hopes to continue making films and develop herself commercially in the animation industry.

Βασισμένο σε αληθινή ιστορία. Κάθε χρόνο εκατοντάδες χιλιάδες φώκιες χτυπιούνται με ρόπαλα από κυνηγούς. Ο κυνηγός σέρνει το σώμα της φώκιας, που είναι καλυμμένο ολόκληρο από αίμα, μέχρι τη βάρκα του όπου συνεχίζεται η αιματοχυσία. Για τη φώκια, είναι ένα μονοπάτι θανάτου, αγωνίας και αντίστασης. Για μένα, είναι ένα σύμβολο που εικονίζει ότι ο δρόμος για την προστασία των ζώων είναι γεμάτος εμπόδια και δυσκολίες.

Padelis Paradisis is a student in the field of visual arts. The first steps were made through photography, and soon an interest in cinema followed as well. During his studies he continued working for his personal photo projects and in the same time started creating the first animated short films, being self taught in the animation technique. He spent one year in the Czech Republic where he studied animation in Tomas Bata University as part of the Erasmus program. Her graduation film earned international recognition, awards and nominations in festivals such as LAGFF, Hong Kong MFA, Balkanima and more.
Ever since she has directed and animated educational short animations, commercials and music videos. In 2012, she gets awarded as a scholar from Alexander Onassis Foundation and attends the MA course, Directing Animation, at the National Film & Television School. She graduates in 2014 with her 10min stop-frame animation "My Stuffed Granny". She lives and works as a free-lancer in London and collaborates with her colleagues from Athens.

Πρόκειται για ένα ντοκιμαντέρ animation για το ΦΑΓΗΤΟ! Με ειρωνικό και σαρκαστικό τρόπο εστιάζει στο φαγητό· πώς το βλέπουμε, πώς το τρώμε, και πώς σκεφτόμαστε γι' αυτό. Η ταινία προσφέρει πολλές οπτικές από ένα ευρύ φάσμα καταναλωτών από όλο τον κόσμο: χορτοφάγους, ψαροφάγους, άτομα που δεν καταναλώνουν ζωικές τροφές, μέχρι και φανατικούς κρεατοφάγους. Pascal Floerks, born in Worms, Germany, on November 10th 1982, discovered his passion for animation early on, making his first films as a child. After the successful completion of a media management degree at the Business and Information Technology School Iserlohn, he wished to explore the creative side of media production and so decided to continue his education at the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg. He gathered plentiful experience as a character TD on numerous student projects and also professionally at Blue Sky Studios in the US. Back home in Germany, he's contributed to a multitude of projects for studios such as Polynoid, Woodblock and Studio Soi, most recently as lead character TD on the Oscar-nominated film "Room on the Broom". As of March 2014, Pascal concluded his studies at the Filmakademie with the completion of his film "Bär".

Fotini Katsoroglou finished her studies at the Ionian University in Corfu, Greece at the department of Audio Visual Arts in June 2013. There, she did different projects in various digital art forms, as for example animations, video art and photography. Now she has moved back to Stuttgart in Germany where she was born in 1987. She is currently doing different internships so she can develop her skills.
The animation Hansel & Gretel was the practical part of her thesis and the theme was: Self-observation while creating a silhouette animation. It was her first silhouette, cut-out animation and she was inspired by the pioneer of Silhouette animation Lotte Reiniger.

Czech animator Zuzana Brachaczková from Ostrava is the author of short animated films for children and youth. She started with animation as a little girl in the QQ studio Ostrava and when she was nineteen she decided to study animation at the Faculty of Multimedia Communications in Zlín. She specially makes films for children. Moreover, she is a lecturer of art course in kindergarten in Zlín. It is helpful to get into the children's fantasy world and inspire. In the future she would like to create a series of short animated stories and continue the tradition of the Czech bedtime stories she loves. For 2014 she is planning to begin filming the pilot episode of her thesis at Tomas Bata University in Zlin.

About the director
Originally from the sleepy hamlet of Whittington in Staffordshire, Rebecca first completed a Bachelor's Degree in Animation at The University for the Creative Arts, Farnham. After working for a Post-production company in London's Soho, she then enrolled onto the Animation Direction course at the National Film & Television School. She has made several short films here, including 'Canuck Black', which includes a mixture of techniques, making it her most ambitious film to date. Rebecca hopes to continue making films and develop herself commercially in the animation industry.

3D Computer animationΒασισμένο σε αληθινή ιστορία. Κάθε χρόνο εκατοντάδες χιλιάδες φώκιες χτυπιούνται με ρόπαλα από κυνηγούς. Ο κυνηγός σέρνει το σώμα της φώκιας, που είναι καλυμμένο ολόκληρο από αίμα, μέχρι τη βάρκα του όπου συνεχίζεται η αιματοχυσία. Για τη φώκια, είναι ένα μονοπάτι θανάτου, αγωνίας και αντίστασης. Για μένα, είναι ένα σύμβολο που εικονίζει ότι ο δρόμος για την προστασία των ζώων είναι γεμάτος εμπόδια και δυσκολίες.

Padelis Paradisis is a student in the field of visual arts. The first steps were made through photography, and soon an interest in cinema followed as well. During his studies he continued working for his personal photo projects and in the same time started creating the first animated short films, being self taught in the animation technique. He spent one year in the Czech Republic where he studied animation in Tomas Bata University as part of the Erasmus program. The following years he continued the effort to create animated short films and in the same time he has directed two live action shorts.

Natalia Dziedzic - Born in Poland in 1986. Graduated from Lodz Film School in Animation and Special Effects .The baccalaureate in art school, class of 2005. Natalia's short movies are made in different techniques of animation 2D. Her earlier movie Orchises Fair participated in many film festivals picking up a total of 8 awards in Poland. In her latest animation Endemic's greed you can see Natalia's interest in graphics.

A recent graduate of the National Film and Television School's Directing Animation Course, I am an animator, director and writer specializing in stop frame animation. Trained at famous Se-Ma-For Studios (Lodz, Poland), I've been working in various animation formats including narrative shorts, adverts and music videos. Experienced in directing a large team of people and familiar with diversified animation techniques, I'm focused on inventing unique and entertaining stories and ideas.

Μια ιστορία για τα καθήκοντα, την επιθυμία για ξεκούραση, τον αφελή φθόνο και τον παραλογισμό. Η σχεδιασμένη στο χέρι ταινία Κάτσε στ' αυγά σου! διηγείται μία διασκεδαστική ιστορία για μια κότα που νοιώθει ότι η ζωή της, όπου δεσπόζει ένας συνεχώς απειλητικός κόκορας και η αγγαρεία να γεννάει αυγά και να μεγαλώνει κοτοπουλάκια, είναι η χειρότερη και η πιο σκληρή στον κόσμο. Γιατί να μην είναι σκύλος; Όλα είναι τόσο απλά για ένα σκύλο! Όλη μέρα το μόνο που κάνει είναι να κυλιέται στο σπιτάκι του και να καταβροχθίζει λιχουδιές. Τι συμβαίνει όταν δύο αφελή πλάσματα αλλάζουν ρόλους;

ΒΙΟΓΡΑΦΙΚΟ
Czech animator Zuzana Brachaczková from Ostrava is the author of short animated films for children and youth. She started with animation as a little girl in the QQ studio Ostrava and when she was nineteen she decided to study animation at the Faculty of Multimedia Communications in Zlín. She specially makes films for children. Moreover, she is a lecturer of art course in kindergarten in Zlín. It is helpful to get into the children's fantasy world and inspire. In the future she would like to create a series of short animated stories and continue the tradition of the Czech bedtime stories she loves. For 2014 she is planning to begin filming the pilot episode of her thesis at Tomas Bata University in Zlin.
